We Care!

As always, Manderfield’s Home Bakery will continue to follow all city/county/state guidelines as required to mitigate
and manage COVID-19 risks.

In August 2020, we implemented the following COVID-19 Plan, in which all employees are trained and accountable.

1. Employee Health and Hygiene

  • Employees who have a fever or other symptoms of COVID-19 will not be allowed to work.
  • Testing is encouraged of all employees who suspect they are sick or have been in contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19.
  • Appropriate measures as instructed by doctors are strictly enforced.
  • Employees must always utilize effective hand hygiene, including washing hands with soap and water, especially before preparing or handing product.

2. Cleaning and Disinfecting

  • Sanitize high-contact areas every two hours, or after each user if feasible.
  • Sanitize tables and seating after each guest.
  • Sanitize food contact surfaces after each use.
  • Sanitize restrooms frequently.

3. Face Coverings

  • Any person entering our building is required to wear a face mask or cloth face covering, including employees, customers, and delivery/maintenance personnel.
  • Disposable masks are provided to our employees.

4. Customer Precautions

  • Employees use gloves to avoid direct bare hand contact with ready-to-eat foods, and change them after each transaction.
  • Offer contactless payment.
  • Customers are required to wear face coverings.
  • Customers are asked to maintain proper social distancing when in our store.
  • Curbside pick-up is available.
